On October 26, 2010, less than a month before Miley Cyrus's eighteenth birthday, her father Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from her mother in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers." However, on March 18, 2011, miley Cyrus's father announced on The View that he had dropped the divorce.
